Art Works

Distance

Distance arises from what was a generous wooden base, where there was painting, creation, success and error. Until it allowed to assemble this form, with elements that travel back in time for more than 50 years, from Lagomar to Palermo through Punta Carretas.

Winning work of the first prize in the Visual and Literary Arts Contest, held in commemoration of the 100 years of the Uruguayan Union, in the Traditional Painting category.
Oriented by the guidelines of the contest, most of the work was done by the base table of a Lagomar bench, with a historical journey close to 100 years. The rest was reflecting on what changes and what endures over time.

Artist

I have always been inspired by the beach, the outdoors, nature, sunrises, waves, the moving sea, construction and light.
Through the woods lost and worn by the sand and the sea I went connecting with the shapes.
Over time I discovered that there is lost wood everywhere and they tell stories.
My works are created to be part of people's daily lives, in the spaces they visit and where they live and work.
The Art of finding and unifying for the purpose of imagining and sharing.
